Christopher Horacio Cardenas, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the age of 44. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on June 29, 1973 to Horacio and Guadalupe M. Cardenas.
He is preceded by his mother, Guadalupe M. Cardenas and his brother, Jose Cardenas.

He is survived by his father, Horacio Cardenas of Seguin, Texas; daughter, Samantha V. Cardenas of Seguin, Texas; sons, Brandon Gallegos of Seguin, Texas; Jeremiah James of New Braunfels, Texas; Camden Cardenas of San Marcos, Texas; and step-daughter Sulema L. Davila of Seguin, Texas.

Chris was loved and will be missed by many family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.

    We will miss Chris, he was always here to help anyway he could, he was a very caring person and would go out of his way to do what you asked, if he came to your door he would knock and than stand in the yard and wait for you to answer, he was always very polite and very respectable. We are so sorry for your loss.

    Cousins... Remembering the things we did together as kids, puts a smile on my face and happiness in my heart. I’ll forever remember your quite sweet smile and those dimples. Getting in trouble from running between your house and Welita’s because we let the screen doors slam or forget to close the gate between the houses... eating watermelon on the porch on hot summer days and collecting seeds to see who could spit them the farthest. Rest In Peace my cousin.
