Alex A. Garza

Alex A. Garza, born on May 28, 1949 in Seguin, Texas, was a beloved individual known for his selflessness and kind-hearted nature. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on August 31, 2023.

Alex was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his compassionate spirit. He possessed a heart that overflowed with generosity and always went above and beyond to help others in need. Alex was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back without hesitation if it meant making someone else's life a little bit easier.

His memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him. The impact he had on the lives of countless individuals will be remembered and honored for generations to come.

In addition to his unwavering kindness, Alex also had a zest for life. He loved to party and could often be found on the dance floor, moving to the rhythm with infectious joy. His passion for dancing brought laughter and happiness to everyone around him.

As we mourn the loss of Alex, we also reflect on the beautiful memories he has left behind. His unwavering kindness, big heart, and vibrant spirit will forever be etched in our hearts. Today, we not only bid farewell to an extraordinary individual but also celebrate a life that was lived with boundless love and compassion.

Alex was preceded in death by his father, Louis Garza Sr., his mother, Susan Arce Garza, brothers, Felix Garza Sr., Gilber Garza Sr., Robert Garza, and sister Josie Garza.  

He also leaves behind a network of loving family members and friends who will carry on his memory. Among them are his surviving siblings: Louis Garza Jr. (Timotea), Erlinda Pastrano (Polo), Ernest Garza Sr. (Rosie), Mary Robles (Manuel), Patsy Pulido (Victor Rangel). The warmth of Alex's love will extend through each one of them as they continue to honor his legacy.

Alex A. Garza's life and legacy will be celebrated during a visitation to be held on September 7, 2023, at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations in Seguin, Texas. The viewing will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the rosary being recited at 7:00 PM, as family, friends, and loved ones gather to pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Alex's memory to a charitable organization of your choice. Let us honor his legacy by continuing his tradition of helping others and spreading love wherever we go.
