Aloise Tedford

Aloise Marie Tedford (83) of Seguin, Texas passed away peacefully on March 23, 2022.  She was born on March 12, 1939, in Edna, Texas, the oldest of 11 children of Adolph & Hattie Sembera.

She was a kind and loving person who was always there for us and loved us unconditionally. She enjoyed all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She loved canning foods, quilting and in recent years she found a love for beading. She has made hundreds of necklaces and donated to local nursing homes. She celebrated her 83rd birthday just a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed spending time with her family. Aloise was strong in her faith and a true fighter, she always put others before herself and was devoted to her family. She is going to be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tolbert Tedford and daughter, Alouise Meshack and her husband Lynn Meshack; siblings, Adolph Jr., Johnny, Edward, Joe, Ben, Marilyn, and Dorothy.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Belinda Murray (Mike), Hedy Weimmer (Eric), Tracy Joiner (Ben), Janice Holoway (Gary), Diana Justice (Bobby), Keith Tedford, sisters Cathy, Hedy Ann and brother Chris, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be at Palmer Mortuary on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be officiated by Deacon Nick Carrillo and will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Catholic Prayer Service. Concluding services in the chapel, all family and friends are invited to meet at St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery off of FM 1516 and Real Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78220 as there will be no formal funeral procession.
