Andy Bruno Cabello went to be with The Lord on January 22nd, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Andy was born on December 1st, 1996 in Seguin, Tx.
Andy is survived by his mother Maggie Cabello Alvarez of Hondo, his father Bruno Martinez Jr and step-mother Linda Medrano of Seguin. Also his partner Alissandra (Lizzie) Garcia, and daughter Ava Bea of Seguin.
Other survivors include his siblings Darren Sanchez, Brianna Martinez, Anthony Martinez, & Matthew Martinez of Seguin. Lyana Rodriguez, Analy Rodriguez, Arayan Alvarez, & Laany Alvarez all of Hondo. Grandparents Bruno Sr. & Alicia Martinez and Doris Cabello Aguirre. Uncles Michael Martinez and Andrew Salazar and Aunt Rebecca Salazar, and numerous cousins and friends.
He is followed in death by Great grandparents Eugenio E. & Pauline Alvarez Martinez. Great Grandparents Jose G. & Anita Urias Rico all of Seguin.
He is also proceeded in death by his beloved Great Grandma "Nanny" Maria M. Cabello whom raised Andy for many years of Seguin. And his fun loving Step-Father Jason "Wedo" Alvarez of Hondo.
As a child Andy loved Fast and Furious, double cheeseburgers, & ketchup. As he got older he grew to love hiking, tubing, & video games. There was nothing Andy loved more than spending time with his dog Pooter and step daughter Ava. He also loved going on drives with friends/family and music, but Andy’s love for music was beyond this world. He was an absolute melomaniac - If Andy wasn’t using his speaker to blast music, he was at a festival seeing multiple artists with his girlfriend and his friends.
Andy was an amazing big brother to all 8 of his siblings. He attended dance recitals, marachi performances, soccer games, football games, & baseball games. He enjoyed family game night, movie night, & just sitting outside by the fire joking around.
On March 12, 2021 Andy's world was turned upside down as he was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer had quickly spread to his stomach, liver, lungs, & kidneys. Andy endured surgery, many hours of chemo therapy, testing, scans, & a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately the cancer was caught too late & was too aggressive. But throughout it all Andy always kept a positive attitude and was always so strong. We don't believe he lost his battle, but yet won & is now in a world without cancer. He is finally free.
