Apolinar Cimental

January 8, 1919 — June 12, 2014

Apolinar Pola Revilla Cimental, age 95 of Seguin, went to be with our Lord on June 12th, 2014.

Apolinar Pola was born on January 8th, 1919 in Saltillo, Mexico to Candelario Revilla and Lina Contreras Revilla. She married the love of her life, Cleofas T. Cimental, on September 24th, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas. She lived her life as a devoted housewife and extraordinary mother of 8 children. There wasnt anything she wouldnt do for her family. She became the backbone and root to a huge, and still rapidly growing family tree. Pola was an amazing cook and loved animals especially cats, dogs, and birds. She was a doll collector and collected lots of other similar items, and she loved working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed shopping, watching her favorite novelas, and above all, the company of her family. She is already deeply missed by those whose lives she has touched and her memory will live on in our hearts until we meet again.

Pola is preceded in death by her husband, Cleofas T. Cimental, her parents, Candelario and Lina Revilla, and her younger sister, Antonia Revilla Davila. Survivors include her brother, Margarito Revilla Nora of Galveston her children, Magdalena Sanchez Elisandro of San Antonio, Chilo Cimental Mary of Seguin, Francisco Cimental Earlene of Gonzales, Cayetano Cimental Irene of Seguin, Raul Cimental Suzanne of Hico, Olga Ledezma Elpidio of Seguin, Alicia Morales of San Antonio, and Annie Caddell of Seguin.
