Beyond his professional endeavors, Augustin had a zest for life that was unwavering. He found solace in fishing trips where he could immerse himself in the serenity of nature. As an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he would eagerly gather with friends and family during game days to cheer on his beloved team. When Augustin wasn't casting lines or cheering for touchdowns, he would often be heard singing his favorite tunes or indulging in evenings at home watching movies.
Augustin's greatest joy came from his role as a husband, father and grandfather. Beside him throughout life's joys and challenges was his loving wife Samantha Zamora. Their relationship was a beautiful testament to love and commitment that will continue to inspire all who knew them. Together they built a home filled with laughter, cherished memories, and unwavering love.
Augustin's children - Augustin Gaitan Jr., Bianca Gaitan, and Daniella Gaitan - were the pride and joy of his life. His legacy lives on through their lives as well as through his grandchildren, Dani Zae Valdez and David Andrew Valdez III who he cherished since the moment they were born.
Augustin was a beloved son, cherished by his parents Amado Gaitan Sr. and Dominga Gaitan. He was blessed to have a large and loving family, including his brothers - Amado Gaitan Jr., Gilbert Gaitan, Adam Gaitan, Daniel Gaitan, and Elvis Gaitan - and sisters - Linda Gaitan, Elizabeth Carrillo, Dominga Andrade, and Susie Gaitan. Their bond was unbreakable, marked by endless love, support, and shared memories.
