In loving memory of Beatrice Bueno Valadez "BBV", a gracious soul whose presence brought warmth and light into the lives of all who knew her. Beatrice born in Seguin, Texas on February 21, 1943, and it is with heavy hearts that we announce her peaceful passing on June 2, 2024, in the same town where she spent her entire life.
Beatrice was known for her unwavering love for her family and her joy in hosting gatherings filled with love and laughter. Her greatest joy came from sharing meals with her loved ones, as feeding her family was not just a gesture of nourishment but a testament to the boundless love she harbored in her heart.
Her vibrant personality touched the lives of many; she had a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days and a heart that overflowed with love and kindness. Beatrice had a knack for making everyone feel welcomed and cherished, and her quick wit and sense of humor never failed to bring laughter to those around her.
Apart from her dedication to family, Beatrice found solace in simple pleasures such as cheering passionately for the Cowboys, perfecting her culinary skills (especially famous for her homemade tortillas), and especially "browsing" for treasures during thrift store visits. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing bingo with her sister and friends, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Surrounded by those she cherished most, Beatrice peacefully transitioned from this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Dolores Bueno; husband, Esteban Valadez Jr.; daughter, Erica Valadez Balderas; sister, Diana Castillo; and brother, Jesse Bueno.
Beatrice will be dearly missed by her surviving family members who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts: children Michael Valadez, Susie Valadez Sanchez (Paul), Ricky Valadez (Anna); grandchildren Dawnyae Littrell, Meagan McNeely, Kandace Krueger, Korey Krueger, Jessica Valadez, Destiny Ramirez, Ricky Valadez Jr., Larissa Leos & Gabriella Leos; great grandchildren; siblings Dora De La Garza, Cynthia Amador (Toyo), Josie Hernandez, Vicente Bueno Jr. (Carmen); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. And will be officiated by Deacon Nick Carrillo.
Visitation will continue at Palmer Mortuary on Friday, June 7, 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m. The chapel will dismiss at 10:00 a.m. and everyone is asked to meet at the church for the funeral mass to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. All services will conclude after mass at the church and a private cremation will follow.
Pallbearers will be: Korey Krueger, Ricky Valadez Jr., Jesse Escobedo, Ryan Amador, David De La Garza III and Abel Valadez Jr.
Though Beatrice may no longer be with us, the love she shared continues to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will always be remembered for the light she brought into this world.
