Belia Gonzales beloved mother, grandmother and Pastor's wife also known as the tamales lady was welcomed into our Fathers Heavenly Kingdom on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the age of 77. She was born to Antonio Gonzales Sr. and Gregoria Gonzales on December 5, 1941 in Seguin, Texas.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; sister, Teresa Garcia; brothers, Ruben Gonzales, Antonio Gonzales Jr., Fernando Gonzales and grandson, Joshua Lopez and great-grandson, Ron Christopher Savior.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jose Gonzales; children, Armando Rivera and wife Eva, Alberto Rivera, Arturo Rivera and wife Alejandra, Carmen McCoog and husband Michael, David Gonzales and wife Mandy, Diana Limones and husband Enrique, Deyanira Aguilar and husband Jose; brother, Gervasio Gonzales; sister, Elisa Rodriguez; grandchildren, Christopher, Armando Jr., Yvette, Linda, Lisa, Leticia, Leann, Isabella, Rene, Arturo Jr., Michael and Madison as well as numerous great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Belia was a strong woman all around. Strong in faith, strong in the strength that she carried within her but most importantly the strength in the form of love that she poured out to everyone that knew her. Not a single person was a stranger to her, she made friends with every single person she met. Belia will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 p.m.at Palmer Mortuary interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
