Bertha Miranda

Bertha Carrillo Miranda, age 75, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was born in Seguin, Texas on April 23, 1942 to Teodora L. and Jose M. Carrillo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Miranda, Sr., parents, and brothers, Alex, Julian, Joe and Jesse Carrillo.

Survivors include her children, Debbie M. Valadez and husband Richard, David Medina, Jr., Michael F. Medina and wife Rachel, Carlos Miranda and Chelsea, and Chris Perez; grandchildren, Dennis Cervantes, David Medina III, Michael Medina, Jared Hernandez, Jordan Gil, George M. Gil III, John and Rebecca, Diego Miranda, Carlos Miranda III, Cassie and Noah; 8 great grandchildren, siblings, Joe G., Mike, Nick, Abel, Mary, Dora and Janie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bertha worked for Motorola in the Credit Union Department for many years and also managed her son, Carlitos, in the Music Industry in 1990. She was a very loving, caring and giving mother to all her family and friends. There was nothing she would not do for anyone that asked. Everyone that knew her, loved her and she will be missed greatly.

The family will receive guests at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Holy Rosary will be recited by the Deacon Nick Carrillo at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
