Brother Rolland Alois Kapsner, MSF, a dedicated member of the Missionaries of the Holy Family, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Seguin, Texas. Born on June 2, 1939, in Lastrup, Minnesota, Brother Rolland leaves behind a legacy of service and compassion.
 
 Brother Rolland's career was marked by his unwavering commitment to his faith and community. He served in St. Louis, Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg, Texas, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas. His proudest accomplishments include ministries such as R.C.I.A., Communion for the homebound, Knights of Columbus involvement, coordination of Bazaar Raffles, Baptism Preparation Classes, and leading daily morning prayers in the Church.
 
 In addition to his devoted career in service to God and others, Brother Rolland served in the United States Army National Guard. His dedication to both his spiritual calling and military duty exemplified his selfless nature.
 
 Brother Rolland will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. Left to cherish his memory are brothers Gerald (Marilyn) Kapsner, Daniel (Patricia) Kapsner, Maurice (Linda) Kapsner, Eugene (Joan) Kapsner, Warren (Joyce) Kapsner, John (Donna) Kapsner; sister Lucille (David) Burggraff; sister-in-law Sue Kapsner; as well as numerous friends and colleagues he influenced throughout his life.
 
 He is preceded in death by his parents, Alois Kapsner and Gertrude Stangle Kapsner; sisters Mary, Beatrice, Maureen; and brother Gregory. 
 
 Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, April 18, 2024 starting at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. 
  
  Visitation will continue on Friday, April 19, 2024 starting at 9:30 a.m. followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Warren Kapsner, Eugene Kapsner, Raul Reyna, Natalio DeLeon, Ruben Perez, Jesus Ozuna.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus Council #16748.
 
 Brother Rolland's dedication to his faith and his community stands as a testament to a life well-lived and a heart well-loved. May his soul find eternal peace in the embrace of the Divine.
