Cameron Smith

On Thursday, April 20, 2017, Cameron Antione Tracy Smith, peacefully transcended from this life on earth to a glorious eternal life at the age of 18. Cameron was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 6, 1999 to Ashley Smith and Troy Cunningham.

Cameron was baptized at Unity Baptist Church and he began school at the early age of three, where he attended Juan Seguin and upon his peaceful passing, he was a freshman at Seguin High School.

"It was not about his disability, it was Cameron's abilities that counted."

He had a smile that spoke volumes, melted the hearts of all who knew him and whoever had the pleasure of knowing him. Whenever Cameron would look at you with those big, beautiful, brown eyes, you felt the love
he felt for us all and he felt the love from us.

"There is no greater disability, in society, than the inability to see a person as more."

Cameron loved family time and especially with Kayden and Kaliyah Rose. He enjoyed school with his friends and teacher, and loved water activities. He had, "Swag," as everyone would say and loved bright colors, sneakers and cologne.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lonnie Brown, maternal great grandfather, Frank Smith Sr., and maternal great great grandparents, Clem and Allie G. Batteman.

Cameron is survived by his loving caring and devoted mother, Ashely Smith, father, Troy Cunningham, siblings, Kayden and Jae'von Clemons, and Kaliyah Rose; loving godmother, Crystal Spears, godfather, Felton Smith, grandmothers, Anita Smith and Beverly Cunningham, grandfather, Tracy Smith, great grandmothers, Rosie "GG" Smith, Paralee Sanders and Margie Harvey, Uncle Ashton Henderson, Aunt Siobhain Smith, loving and caring nurses, Joseph Dodson and Niki Bell; three sisters, and a host of countless relatives and friends, whom all held a special place in his heart.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Emanuel's Lutheran Church (206 N. Travis Street, Seguin, TX 78155) on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at McKeller Memorial Park in Gonzales, Texas.
