Caritina Garcia

Caritina Garcia of San Antonio, Texas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the age of 91. She was born to Cruz Izaguirre and Catalina Hernandez Izaguirre on October 5, 1927 in Buena Vista, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Caritina is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Lazaro Garcia and daughter, Esperanza Treviño.

She is survived by her son, Arturo and Rosalina Garcia, daughter, Ofelia Garcia; grandchildren, Sandra, Roxanne, Maricela, Lazaro, Rosio, Marisol, Juan Jr., Agnes and Jose; 5 great grandchildren and her son in law, Juan Treviño.

Caritina was a very strong and independent woman. She was known for her sass and always having her hair and make-up done and dressing up to look fabulous. She was honest and strong willed and she enjoyed cooking and shopping. She enjoyed having her café con leche and it had to be accompanied with pan dulce. She will be dearly missed

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Marion Cemetery.
