Carla Jean Forney

On 8 November 2024, Mrs. Carla Jean Forney passed away in her sleep at 8:28 pm in Remarkable Healthcare Nursing home under hospice care. 

A caring loving, strong willed independent woman who is survived by her husband of 56 years Jonas E. Forney Jr., 3 sons Casey A. Forney, Dale E. Forney, James D. Forney. Her grandchildren and great grandkids include: Angela MacPherson- Chappelle, Arthur Chapelle, Kaleigh Diniz, (Elijah, Jonah, Noah), Joey Diniz, Lori Applin, (Wade, Samuel Applin/ Addy, Aden, Castiel), Destiny Forney, Emily Forney and Caden Forney. Other surviving family members include Johnie C. Prenzlin, Sandy Hertel, Carl Prenzlin, Debbie Carsten, Becky Drake, Robyn H. Forney, Amanda Forney and Jerry Taylor.

Mrs. Forney worked at Continental and Tyson Foods for considerable years and assisted with Boy Scouts in earlier years. Her spirit was that of a large firecracker in a small package but she always had love for all that she encountered and people she met. She will be missed and always
