Carlos Esparza

Carlos Ramirez Esparza, of Seguin, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the age of 69.
He was born in San Benito, Texas on November 1, 1946 to Guillermo and
Maria (Ramirez) Esparza.

Carlos grew up in a large family, he was the youngest of 16 children, and attended Los Fresnos High School. Eventually moving to Seguin, where he resided most of his life,
Carlos was employed in law enforcement for 35 years. 25 years with Guadalupe County as a deputy sheriff, he was commended and received the award of, Officer of the Year.
In his spare time, he loved to play golf. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his children, Carlos J. Esparza, Diana Sandoval and Cesar Esparza; one granddaughter, one sister and four brothers,
his favorite niece, Carol, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
