Carmen Chavez Valdez of Fort Worth, Texas died on Friday, July 23, 2010. She was born in San Diego, Texas and is preceded in death by husband, Jesus Valdez, Sr., son JesusValdez, Jr., daughter, Maria Inez Garcia, all of Seguin brother, Fortino Chavez of Corpus Christi, TX. Mrs. Valdez is survived by 4 daughters, Paula Ochoa of Fort Worth, Raquel Menchaca husband Jesus, of Fort Worth, Rosa Marina her husband Albert Trujillo of Houston and Carmen Lydia Valdez of Denton 3 sons, Jose Francisco and wife Mary Valdez of Seguin, Ruben Valdez of Seguin and Roger and wife Diana Valdez of Fort Worth sisters, Esperanza Arrieta of Seguin and Maria Luisa Valdez of San Marcos, Texas 31 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM 9:00 PM on Monday, July 26, 2010 with a Prayer Service from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at Palmer Mortuary Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM at Palmer Mortuary Chapel with a Burial Service to be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
