Corrine Valdez Crockett, of Seguin, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the age of 77. She was born in El Campo, Texas on June 15, 1941 to Eufemia (Garcia) and Jose Valdez.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Crockett, Sr., parents and brother, Raymond Valdez.
Survivors include her children: Yolanda Ramirez (Danny), Doris Crockett (Monica), Daniel Crockett, Carol Crockett and Raymond Crockett; grandchildren: Jessica Gonzales, Danny Ramirez, Jr. (Linda), Danielle Crockett, Daniel Crockett, Jr., Miklea Crockett, Sailas Contreras, Kda Contreras, Kaytlyn Contreras, Edin Contreras, Elizabeth Ward and Alexander Montaque; 6 great grandchildren, siblings: Rebecca Sanchez, Joe Valdez, Jr., and Linda Rivera; as well as nieces and nephews.
Corrine was a dedicated woman to the Catholic faith. She was a congregant of two parishes, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Braunfels. She was active at both churches as a member of the Guadalupanas, the Crusitas and a member of the ACTS Team (OLPH). Her family will remember her at being very loving. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her.
The first day of Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The second day of Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. The Interment will be on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
