Cruz Herrera Jr.

Cruz Herrera Jr., of San Antonio, passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 69. He was born in La Villa, Texas, on December 4, 1949 to Cruz Herrera Sr. and Josefina Lopez.

Cruz had a passion and hobby for watching old western films and working on bicycles. He enjoyed finding bargains and thrift shopping. He loved his son and always made sure that he was taken care of. He also enjoyed sparking conversation with anyone and everyone he met. Cruz was content and grateful with the things that he had in his life and he will be dearly missed by his son, Guillermo Barron Herrera and all of those who knew and loved him.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. all services will conclude in the Palmer Mortuary Chapel.
