Domingo "Mongie" Sabedra

Domingo “Mongie” Sabedra age 73 was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord on April 21, 2023. He was born in Seguin, Texas on July 10, 1949.

Mongie was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed being outdoors and watching country western movies.  All of those who knew and loved him will greatly miss hearing him say “No Hay Chansa”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Pabla Sabedra and two brothers, Guadalupe and Jesus Sabedra.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tomasita Sabedra (Reimundo Solis), David Montanez, Laura Sabedra and Katrina Juarez; grandchildren, Stevie Ray Solis, Thomas Lee Solis, Gabriel Solis, Jazmin Montanez, David Montanez Jr., Josue Juarez, Jaquelynn Ramirez and Joaquin Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Christopher Rey Solis, Nyla Solis, Sephira Solis and Marisol Solis; brothers, Jacinto Sabedra, Juan Sabedra and sister, Dominga Maldonado. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at Palmer Mortuary on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10 am to 12 pm recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12 pm followed by a prayer service. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.

All friends and family are asked to meet directly at the cemetery after the services conclude as there will not be a funeral procession from the funeral home.
