Earline Calvert

May 28, 1933 — June 29, 2010

Mother Earline Calvert was born May 28, 1933 in Guadalupe County. She enjoyed a wonderful childhood and went on to graduate Valedictorian from Sweet Home High School. On July 15, 1950 she united in marriage to Willie Calvert. Together they raised one boy and five girls. Earline and Willie celebrated 52 years of marriage before he passed on October 13, 2002.While caring for her family was top priority, she also found time to attend Hicks Beauty School in San Antonio. She graduated from Hicks in 1967 and became a licensed beautician, owning and operated her beauty shop in Seguin for over 30 years.

Mother Calvert was a faithful member of Refuge Church of Our Lord Jesus for over 3 decades. She served tirelessly as the Womans Council President, Missionary President and Sunday School Teacher. Although she did not want to leave her dear church, in 2002 she moved to Round Rock, TX. to be near family.

Her children say the greatest gift she gave them was the time she spent on her knees in prayer. She has left a Legacy of Faith, Hope and Love for her family and friends. Forever, she will be remembered as a good and faithful servant of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Earline Calvert spread her wings and soared into eternal rest Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at St. Davids Round Rock Hospital.
