Edelmira Garza

Edelmira "Mira" T. Garza of Seguin, Texas was welcomed into her Heavenly Home on March 21, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Galle, Texas to Pablo Tristan Sr. and Teresa Maldonado Tristan.

Edelmira was a loving mother to everyone. She had a great sense of humor and loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends but she especially loved visits from her brothers and sisters. She made friends with anyone she met and she left a piece of herself in everyone's lives. Her legacy will live on in all of those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death her mother and father and her husband Marcelino Garza Sr.

Left to cherish and honor her memory are her children, Gabriel A Smith (David Nunez) and Marcelino Garza Jr. (Iris); grandchildren, Korey Ramon (Angelica) and Marisa Garza; great-grandsons, Korey Joseph, Kaleb Jay and Kristian Jace; step sons, Robert Garza (Mary) and Esteban Garza (Georgia). Edelmira is further survived by numerous siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

At this time due to the events happening in our nation and our world due to COVID-19, there will be no funeral services.

We will keep you updated as soon as a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe is scheduled at a later date.
