Elvia Flores Fraga was born in Hidalgo, Coahuila, Mexico on October 19, 1941. After her marriage to Guadalupe Fraga, she moved to the United States in the late 1950s. Over the course of their next 26 years, they became parents to 9 children.
Elvia was also the beloved matriarch of 26 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed puzzles, singing, and sewing blankets by hand for her extended family.
She was a humble woman who instilled many values in her children. She was an avid reader who found happiness in reading the Bible throughout her lifetime. By her example, she instilled a love for God in her children. Her children took an interest in learning the truth about Jehovah God, and she eventually did too. She dedicated her life to Him, put her faith in what Jesus said, and knew it would be her only hope to be in perfect health with her loved ones forever.
She is preceded in death by her son Lupe Fraga, Jr. She is survived by her children: Jesse Fraga (Sharon), Nora Campos, Anna Fraga, Mamie Meisen (Tom), Sonia Machart (Matt), Rocky Fraga (Patty), Isabel Downs (Robert), Fonzie Fraga (Bonnie); her brother, Jack Vergara (Michelle); sister, Ana Flores-Contreras; her grandchildren: Jason, Rachel, Angelica, Diana, Jose, Timothy, Sabrina, Anthony, Bo (Lupe III), Samantha, Wyatt, Joshua, Jacob, Jennifer, Jeanette, Stephanie, Katie, Rosie, Selina, Sabrina, Brandi, Brittany, Ricky, Amanda, Breanna, Benjamin, Sonia, and her great-grandchildren: Aurora, Elara, Solara, Robert, Matthew, Kaylyn, Emmalyn, Ellie, Marissa, Isabella, Marcos, Mariah, Ava, Emery, Isaac, Kinley, Maelyn, Asaph, and Carl.
