Emarosa "Emmie-Rose" Concepcion Lomas-Diaz, of Seguin, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the age of 1 month. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on June 7, 2018 to Gabrielle Lomas Diaz and Arthuro Alvarez.
She is preceded in death by her maternal great grandmother: Concepcion Vigil Robles, Uncle: Jesse Lomas Jr., and cousin: Jesse James Lomas.
Survivors include her parents: Gabrielle Lomas Diaz and Arthuro Alvarez; siblings: Alisana, Kaiden and Gavin Hegwer, Hermione Lomas and Autumn Alvarez; maternal grandparents: Nanette Lomas and Mario Trujillo, and paternal grandfather Adam Diaz; uncle: Adrian Lomas, maternal great grandparents: Jesse Lomas Sr., and Lucy Hernandez.
Emmie-Rose was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and fought until she took her last breath. She was named, "Warrior," for she was stronger than any baby they had ever seen. In the short amount of time she spent on earth, Emmie-Rose the Warrior, impacted a lot of lives. Her strength and courage will never be forgotten by those that knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. The Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
