Ernest Chaney

Ernest Eugene Chaney, 67, a longtime Seguin resident, passed away on August 10, 2020. He was born at Lackland AFB in San Antonio on New Year's Day in 1953 to Gene and Mary Alice (Chandler) Chaney.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents and survived by two sisters, Carole and Alice, brother, Jesse, and several nieces and a nephew.

The family is extremely grateful to his foster family through Bluebonnet Trails and Genesis Disability Care, Ron and Debra (Allen) Hodge for providing Ernest with many years of a safe, caring, and comfortable life. He will always be remembered by his big smile, pleasant disposition, and love of clocks.
