Eva Herrera

Eva Herrera, of Seguin, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the age of 60. Eva was born in Seguin, Texas on January 13, 1961, to Trinidad Saenz and Serapio Herrera.

Eva is survived by her four children, Vicky Diaz (Judy), Ricky Diaz Jr. (April), Debbie Grant (Derek) and Brandy Herrera; grandchildren, Jackelyn Armendariz, Jonathan Diaz, Ricky Diaz III, Jason Campos, Jadon Campos, Jenave Herrera, Jazmyn Herrera, Rianna Rodriguez, JVeanna Montealvo and Christopher Montealvo; sister, Christina Flores; as well as numerous family and friends.

Eva loved music but she especially loved to dance and listen to Spanish music which included Ramon Ayala. She enjoyed cooking and was always willing to open her doors and to feed her many friends who she loved being there for.  She loved to design dresses and had hopes of one day becoming a dress designer. Eva wanted to be remembered by her good memories and wanted everyone to celebrate and play her favorite music. She gave “tough love” but always said she loved her kids and grandkids no matter what.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations. Services will conclude in the chapel.
