Felix Gutierrez

Felix Gutierrez of Kingsbury, Texas passed away surrounded by his family on April 30, 2021 at the age of 73. Felix was born on February 01, 1948 in Pearsall, Texas to Maria T. and Jesus Gutierrez.

Felix was a very independent, hard-working man. He was born and raised in Pearsall and for at least the past 30 years or more he lived in Kingsbury, he worked with Mr. Leslie Baker and Cindy Jones and did not see himself ever moving away. He was one of 4 brothers one of which was his twin Geraldo “Lalo”. Most of his friends sometimes could not tell them apart.  If you needed anything and he was able to help you he would.  He would say all his friends are in Kingsbury, and that proved to be true because on his last days we saw his friends were there and they truly did care for him.  He loved dancing to county music and listening to Tejano music. Felix was a good man, a friend, and a great brother he will be greatly missed by his family and his Kingsbury friends.

Felix is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria, brother, George Gutierrez, sister, Gloria Cano and his brother-in-law, Daniel Lopez, Jr.

He is survived by his children, Becky Gutierrez, George Gutierrez, Joseph Gutierrez and Adam Gutierrez; grandchildren, Areli Gutierrez, Josiah Gutierrez, Mikiela Gutierrez and Aniyah Gutierrez; sisters, Mickie Urdiales of San Antonio, Tina Lopez of Kingsbury, and Sylvia Lozano of Seguin; his brothers, Jesus Gutierrez, Jr. of Pearsall and Geraldo Gutierrez of Kingsbury. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

At this time there will be no formal funeral services as Felix’s final wish was cremation.
