Filomena Flores

Mrs. Filomena Gonzales Flores went peacefully with the Lord on May 1, 2009 to join her husband on what would have been their 71st wedding anniversary. She was born on March 8, 1910 in Geronimo, Texas. She is survived by her children Julian Flores Jr., Tommie Cabello, Elia Trigo, Virginia Castilleja, Lydia Natal, and Amado Flores. She is also survived by her brother Bernabe G. Gonzales and sister Agustina Martinez. She had 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. Loved ones previously passed are her husband Julian Flores Sr., son Juan Toby Flores, and son in law Hilario Castilleja. She enjoyed watching the NBA champion Spurs and even had a nick name for each one of the players. Mrs. Flores was very devoted to the Cruzillistas and Guadalupanas.

Mrs. Flores' family would like to thank LVN Matthew Montoya for all the special care he provided for her and also Maria, Juanita, Alicia, and Laura from Legend Oaks Nursing Home. Also a thank you for the wonderful care Hospice providedBRthru Vista Care.
