Frank Grimsley Jr.

USAF Major Frank Grimsley Jr., our beloved father went home on July 19, 2024, peacefully. He was born on December 29, 1936, in Lincoln, Illinois to Frank and Lucille (Joplin) Grimsley.

Just like the song “Take Me Home Country Road,” he finally found a place where he belonged. He would reunite with his beautiful wife of fifty years, Wrayetta, his oldest, Steven Ross and his youngest, Carol Rene, the children he lost much too soon.

He is survived by his sons, James and wife, Margie and Billy and wife, Ramona; daughter, Karen Moore and husband, Edward; daughter in law, Lucy; brothers, Robert Field and wife, Lynn, Stan Grimsley and wife, Ampai, and Ron Porter, Pris; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. He was truly a blessed man.
