Frank Mueck

Frank Anton Mueck entered eternal rest on January 18, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born in Yoakum, Texas on Jan. 23, 1931, the son of Anton Mueck and wife Selina Rice Mueck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Alice Barbara Spann Mueck of Shiner, Texas, his greatgrandson, Kaleb Andrew Sultenfuss, and granddaugher, Melody June Mueck.

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Konarik Mueck, his daughter Deborah Kay Samuel and husband Kris, his son Frank David Mueck and wife Melissa, grandson Frank David Mueck, Jr., and great granddaughter Courtney Abigail MueckAnaya. Stepdaughters Deborah Broun, Grace Lebeda and husband Michael, Phyllis Valchar and husband Gary, step grandchildren, Christie, Kendra and Derek Valchar and Dusty and Cody Broun.

Frank and his first wife, Alice Barbara from Shiner, Texas, moved to San Antonio in 1951. He worked at the City Water Board, Lufkin Trailers and in 1965 went to work for Hobbs Trailers in their Sales Department. With over 21 years in sales, he retired early and started the D A Trucking business until he retired for the second time in 1995. Frank was always building something, working on something or tearing something apart to make it better.

Frank met Henrietta Konarik in 1999 at the Mustang Dance Hall in Hallettsville, Texas. After they married in January 2000 they moved to Seguin, Texas and called it home. They both loved to dance and travel. They bought several motor homes and traveled to numerous motor home rallies throughout the state of Texas. On Friday nights you would always find Frank and Henrietta at Kingsbury Opry. There they would enjoy socializing, dancing and many laughs with the Kingsbury Family.

Pallbearers are Grandson Frank David Mueck Jr, Nephew Carl Spann, Step grandsons Cody Broun, Dusty Broun, Derek Valchar and Eddie Covert, family friend. Honary pallbearers are Michael Lebeda, Gary Valchar, Joe Campbell, Dalton Elam, Dale Kubena and Marc Novick.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 58 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary at 1116 N. Austin Street, Seguin, Texas. Services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 1326 E. Cedar Street, Seguin, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Jeromes Catholic Cemetery.
