Gilbert Garcia

Gilbert B. Garcia of Seguin, Texas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born to Ancieto Garcia and Carolina (Barrera) Garcia on October 6, 1947 in Sebastian, Texas.

Gilbert was extremely hard working and as they say a true "go-getter." He was always willing to help those in need. He was highly intelligent and could fix anything that needed a fixing. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for three years. During the years he served he was awarded 3 Purple Hearts, a Gold Heart of Valor and a Silver Star.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents.

Gilbert is survived by his brother, Robert Garcia and his sisters, Estela Garcia Cortes, Mary Garcia and Neri Garcia Oliver. Gilbert is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family will fulfill Gilbert's wishes of cremation and there will be no funeral services held.
