Gregorio Lopez

Gregory H. Lopez, of Seguin, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 6, 2019 at the age of 78. He was born on May 25, 1940 to John and Filomena Lopez.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carlos and Gume Lopez and sisters, Fannie Ochoa and Mary Sanchez.
Gregory was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alicia Lopez of Seguin, Texas; children, Laura Lopez of Casa Grande, Arizona, Yolanda Kays of Seguin, Veronica L. and Joey Magallanez of Geronimo, René Lopez of Seguin, Fannie Lopez of Seguin; siblings, Soila Garcia of Seguin and Augustine Lopez of Converse; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gregory was a long-haul truck driver for over 26 years with Holly Farms and Tyson Foods. Family and friends knew him by "Goyo", "Goyito", "Greg" and "Midnight Cowboy". When he wasn't on the road, Gregory enjoyed spending time with his family, grilling, listening to music, trips to the casino, watching western movies, boxing and of course watching football. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan!

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and will be laid to rest with our lord at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
