Guadalupe Calderon

Guadalupe Leal Calderon, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014, at the age of 88.

Born to the late Jose and Maria Leal, Lupe as she was know to friends and family, was a woman of faith and the heart of the Calderon family. Possessing a true servants heart, she was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the Guadalupanas.

In September 1948, she married her dear husband, the late Inocencio Calderon. Together they raised two wonderful sons, Steven Calderon with wife Janie and Roberto, Bobby, Calderon.

Commitment to family was a priority for her, her unwavering love and greatest passion in life were her four adoring grandchildren, Charity Calderon with fiance Albert, Stefany Calderon, Corey Calderon and Colin Calderon.

Lupe was a caring sister to brothers, Lawrence Leal with friend Shay, Gene Leal with wife Janie, Adolph Leal with wife Ydalia, Jesse Leal with wife Chris and the late Richard Leal with wife Virginia.

A very special bond was shared between Lupe and and her sisters, Ester Toscano with husband Gene, Herlinda Sotelo Castellanos, and the late Lucia Rios.

She was a nurturing aunt to many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Her legacy of love and her infectious smile will remain un us, always.

Visitation for family and friends of Lupe Calderon will be provided by Palmer Mortuary on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 5:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. with a Rosary to be recited in her honor that evening at 7:00 p. m. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 9:30 a. m. with the final Interment at San Geronimo Cemetery.
