Gumecindo Lopez

Gumecindo H. Lopez, of Seguin, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the age of 86. He was born on January 13, 1929 to Concepcion Lopez and Filomena (Hernandez).
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Rudy and Joshua Lopez.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Dora Lopez, daughter Karen Morales and husband Jose, son John Lopez and life partner Jay Allen and Armando Lopez;
grandchildren, Leslie Morales, and Wesley Morales and wife Stella; 12 great grandchildren, siblings, Gregory Lopez and wife Alice, Augustine Lopez and wife Hercilia and Soila Garcia;
as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gumecindo was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hard worker and retired from ACME Brick Co. in McQueeney, TX, where he worked for 38 years.
He was a big fan of and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and The San Antonio Spurs.
He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. and the Deacon Nick Carrillo will be reciting the Rosary.
