Harry Westerburg

Harry Cordell Tex Westerburg, loving husband and father, joined our Lord in Heaven and the love of his life Cherryl on September 25, 2007. Tex was born on November 12, 1943 in Houston Texas. He and Cherryl Jane McDuff were married on December 23, 1964 in Pasadena Texas. Tex joined the United States Air Force in 1964 and retired after 20 years of service in November 1984 at which time he moved his family to La Vernia Texas. His family lived in La Vernia from 1982 to 1993 until they moved to San Antonio to be close to the Medical Center area for Cherryl. When Cherryl joined our Lord in Heaven on January 3, 2004 Tex moved to Abilene Texas where he resided until his death. Tex is preceded in death by his parents Harry Lee and Thama Westerburg and his wife Cherryl Jane McDuff Westerburg. He is survived by his son Kenneth C Westerburg and his daughter Shay Westerburg Minor both of Abilene, and Mother-in-law Ruby Guess of Abilene, Sister-in-law Pamela Phiffer and her husband Don Phiffer. Graveside Services will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on September 29, 2007 at 10:00 in the morning. The cemetary is located approximately 12 miles north of Seguin on Highway 46 north of Interstate 10 traveling east from San Antonio towards Houston. Flowers may be accepted at Palmer Mortuary in Seguin.
