Hermanejilda Mary Cerda Ybarra

Our Beloved Mary MaimeMomo of Seguin was called home on Friday evening, September 21, 2012 at the age of 90 years old. Born on April 13, 1922 in Seguin, Texas, She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro R. Ybarra, sons Roque, Ruben and Ricky brother Moses Cerda greatgrandson Matthew Albarez. Mary is survived by her sister Lucy Lozano of Chicago, her daughters Gloria, Vicky Pete, Frances Rod, Sylvia, Elizabeth, Beatrice John, Diana, Ellen, Ruby, Rachel Tony, and Cecilia sons, Peter, Robert Zerah, Steve Shirley, Albert Velma. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a devoted caring mother, grandmother, friend and sister. Mary was a lifetime resident of Seguin, Texas. In keeping with her cherished Catholic faith a rosary will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Tuesday, September 25th at 7:30 pm. A viewing will be held prior to the rosary at Palmer Mortuary from 4 pm to 6 pm. A Mass celebrating her faith and life will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas on Wednesday, September 26th at 10 am. After the Mass, the procession will depart to Our Lady of Guadalupe cemetery where she will be laid to rest. Mary was a longtime devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church as well as a member of the Guadalupanas and volunteered for numerous charities. She will be deeply missed. The Ybarra family would like to thank Hope Hospice of New Braunfels, the wonderful Emergency room staff at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center and Champlain Tom Jones for the loving care of their Mother. The Family would also like to thank their sister Gloria Ybarra for the loving care and devotion for the past 8 years she gave their beloved Mother. May God continue to bless her for her devotion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Association andor Hope Hospice of New Braunfels. The Family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for your care and support during this difficult time.
