Inez Ruiz

Inez "Nay" Herrera Ruiz, of Seguin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the age of 65. She was born on October 15, 1951 in Seguin, TX to Raymundo, Sr., and Carolina (Luna) Herrera.

She is preceded in death by her husband, San Juan P. Ruiz.

She is survived by her children, John Ruiz and wife Lorie, Joe Ruiz and wife Angela, Alissa Ruiz, Brandon Ruiz; parents, siblings, Raymundo Herrera, Jr., Estella Avitua (Abel), Gloria Villarreal (Juan), Michael Herrera, Adrian Herrera, Beatrice Tristan; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Roman, Alexandrea, X-avier, J'senya, Anysa, Regina, Kris, Kaydence and great grandchild, Maliki.

Inez worked for Motorola for just over 3 decades, then retired to take care of her husband. She had hundreds of close friends and relatives who loved and cared for her. She was always there for anyone who needed someone to talk to and always offered prayers and counseling. She was a true example of Christ's unconditional love to all she met and her infectious laugh and love of fellowship, made her a joy to be around. She will be missed.

A Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be recited on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 3:00 p.m., and the Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Family and Friends may gather at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2017 for Visiting hours from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 11:00 a.m. and Inez will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery in Seguin, TX.
