Janie Soria

November 23, 1954 — February 28, 2019

Janie "Jay" Soria, of Seguin, passed on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the age of 64. She was born in Seguin, Texas on November 23, 1954, to Alberto and Guadalupe Robles.
She is preceded by her parents; and nephew, Gilbert Sanchez, Jr.
She is survived by her significant other of 25 years, Jose Gonzales; brothers, Armando Robles and Lora, David Robles and Virginia, Juan Robles and Rita, Raul Robles of Gonzales; sister, Sylvia Garcia and Ernesto and Lisa Castillo and Gilbert; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Janie will be remembered for her bubbly, fun spirit and her kind heart. She loved to play bingo and loved her Dallas Cowboys. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her; especially by her fur baby, Mamas.
Pallbearers will be Orlando Castillo, Jacob Castillo, Jeremy Garza, Justin Sanchez, Jose Carlos Gonzales and Anselmo Gonzales.
A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, March 4, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Palmer Mortuary in Seguin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
