Jesse Soto

Jesse Flores Soto Sr., of Seguin, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the age of 70. He was born in Floresville, Texas on November 17, 1944 to Salvador Soto and Josephine Flores.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Henry Soto Sr., Salvador Soto Jr., and Johnny Soto Sr.; sisters, Manuela Martinez, and Pauline Jimenez; and nephews, Tony Jimenez, Ezekiel Urias and Frank Martinez.

Survivors include his children, Jeffery Soto, Jesse Soto Jr., Jerry Soto and wife Jennifer and Agnes Soto; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, siblings, Vicente Soto and wife Susie, Rosendo Soto and wife Elida, Lupe Aguilar and husband Joe, Anita Vigil and husband Leandro, Dora Urias and husband Alfred; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jesse was an inspiring man that touched a lot of lives. He battled ulcerative colitis and suffered through much pain. No matter his circumstance, he always had love in his heart to care for others and witness to them, of how he changed his life and his faith.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 p.m.
