Jesse Bryan "JB" Wallace, of Seguin, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the age of 88. He was born February 19, 1928, in San Antonio, Texas, to Jesse Howard Wallace and Dorothy Jane Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Marguerite Nolan Wallace, and son, Dave Patrick Wallace.
Survivors include his children, Maureen "Mickey" Cavin and husband Jim, Jesse "JJ" Wallace and wife Claire, Erin Ghedi and husband Jimmy, Michelene "Shelley" Wade, Stan Weik and wife Joanne, and daughter-in-law Kathy Wallace; as well as 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
JB served in the United States Navy during World War II, aboard the USS Biloxi, and was a life Member of the Mc Queeney VFW Post 9213.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017. A procession will follow to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209 for an Interment at 1:15 p.m., with Military Honors to be rendered.
