Jesus Ochoa

Jesus Ochoa, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the age of 71. He was born on February 12, 1943 to Cecilio and Gonzala (nee Calderon) Ochoa Sr., and was the fifth of eight children.
He graduated from Marion High School in 1962 and began working in the construction field. He married the former Cipriana Zavala and they were the proud parents of five children.
Jesus is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ernest and Juan Ochoa.
Survivors include his siblings, Margarita Ramirez, Beatriz Gutierrez, Cecilio Ochoa Jr., Pam Martinez and Alberta Ochoa; children, Jesus Ochoa Jr., and wife Beth, Gilbert Z. Ochoa and wife Kari, Anita Ochoa, Melissa Cullum and husband Raymond, and Hector Ochoa and wife Sara; 12 grandchildren, three great granddaughters as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 5:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be held at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marion, TX, on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 10:00 a. m. Interment will follow at the Marion Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to Marvin, Jesus's home health care provider and his children wish to acknowledge their aunt Alberta for the love and sacrifice she extended to their father.
