Jimmy Garza

Jimmy V. Garza, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the age of 55. He was born in Seguin, Texas on July 26, 1960 to Manuel Garza, Sr., and Maria (Valdez).

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Stella Navarro Garza, children, James Miguel, Janie Amaris, Diana Marie and Noel Navarro Garza; stepson Rudy Sanchez, Jr., grandson Jaycen Jimmy Garza, step grandsons, Rudy Sanchez III and Benny Sanchez; siblings, Diana Aguirre, Roy Garza, Henry Garza and Manuel Garza, Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jimmy was a proud veteran and served in the United States Army as well as the National Guard. He will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
