Josefina Garcia

Josefina “Fina” Garcia, 83, of Seguin, Texas died peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 13, 2019.  Josefine was born on March 19, 1936 in McQueeney, Texas to Ruperto and Benita Jimenez.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruperto and Benita Jimenez; her brothers, Elias, Enrique, Umberto Jimenez, and sisters, Eva Urías and Anita Peña.

She leaves her daughter Grace and husband, Robert Rodriguez; daughter Irma Garcia; daughter Sandra and husband, Jimmy Briseño; daughter, JoAnn; daughter Denise and husband, Aurelio Honesto; Jake and wife, Christina Garcia and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 and will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Palmer Mortuary with pastor Abel Arispe officiating and interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
