Josephine Garza

Josephine Garza, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2020, at the age of 92.  She was born in Moline, Illinois on June 11, 1928 to Manuel Garza and Maria Crecencia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Juan Garza and her niece, Rose Maria Cuevas.

Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Magdalena Cisneros; niece, Margarita Cisneros, Helen Morales & Gabino; nephews, Manuel Cisneros Jr. & wife Anita, Patrick Cisneros, George Cisneros & wife, Gloria, Rudy Garza & wife, Robin and Rene Garza. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Josephine was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Guadalupanas. She enjoyed baking cakes for the Bazaar and volunteering anywhere she was needed. She enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her pets.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the Holy Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with burial following at San Geronimo Cemetery.
