Juan Pablo Juarez Jr.

Juan Pablo Juarez Jr. “Porky” passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the age of 49. He was born to Juan P. Juarez Sr. and Esmeralda Gonzales on May 14, 1974 in Seguin, Texas.

Porky was a well-known man born and raised in Seguin, Texas. He worked in construction with his dad at J.J. Concrete Construction. He loved his family and friends dearly and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed listening to music and loved watching all kinds of movies. No matter where he was at in life, he always had a smile on his face, and he loved making others smile and laugh. He had many friends around town that he loved to hang out with, and he also enjoyed planting flowers and plants for his family. Porky will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Porky is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lola Juarez; maternal grandparents, Susana and Rodolfo Gonzales; aunt, Guadalupe Alvarado; uncle, Theodore Juarez; cousins, Jessica J. Penuelaz, Frank Morales, and Donald Gomez.

He is survived by his father, Juan P. Juarez Sr. (Isabel); mother, Esmeralda G. Garza (Thomas); daughter, Joylinda Juarez (Israel); stepdaughter, Alexis Guardiola; siblings, Laura L. Juarez (Santos), Tammy R. Cordeo (Chris), Pedro Cantu III, Terri R. Mendoza (Victor), Danny Rodriguez (Jennifer), Jr. Rodriguez (Kindrid); nephews and nieces, Rene Sauceda Jr. (Bree), Sienna Vazquez, Kaylynn Cordeo, Gabriel Ramirez, Adreana Cepeda, Alyxes Mendoza, Erica Whitworth, Austen Rodriguez, Meranda Rodriguez, Ashton Rodriguez, Addison Rodriguez, Gabby Rodriguez, Ava Rodriguez; great nephews and nieces, Gvonni Sauceda, Jarien Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, Brendan Whitworth, Micha Rodriguez, Kaysen Rodriguez, Chaoz Caad, and Kendal Ramirez. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Palmer Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
