Juan Tovar, Sr.

Juan was born to Natividad Tovar and Benita Young on June 1, 1933. He is survived by his wife Modesta S. Tovar of 60 years; sons and spouses Juan and Maria Tovar, Jr., Ray Tovar, Jerry and Sylvia Tovar, Sr., all of McQueeney, Texas; adopted grandson Oscar and Christina Martinez of Seguin; daughters and spouses Delia Cardenas, Modesta and Jesus Perez, Sr., Belinda and Mike Jimenez, all of Denton, Texas, Teresa Tovar of McQueeney, Texas and Mary Ann and Frank Valdez of Seguin, Texas. Juan, Sr. is also survived by his half brothers - Natividad, Ruben and Abel Tovar of San Antonio, Texas.

Juan is preceded in death by his father, Natividad Tovar, Sr., mother Benita Young and his two sons Lupe and Richard.

Juans legacy will not only continue on through his 34 grandchildren, but through his 67 great grandchildren, BBQ and the outdoors, but of his work. He worked for Acme Brick Co. for more than 48 years driving trucks.
