Julia Hernandez

Julia Briseno Hernandez, of Seguin passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the age of 80. She was born in Seguin, Texas, to Domingo and Maria Briseno on June 9, 1934.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sibling Guadalupe Cerda.

Survivors include her siblings, Gilbert Briseno and wife Elisa, Gloria DeLaCruz and husband Toribio, Diane Casillas and husband Hunberto, Sherry Behrendt and husband John; brother-in-law Edd Cerda; son Javier Hernandez and wife Lori, daughter Lucilla Hernandez; constant canine companion for 16 years "Chiquita," as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia enjoyed reading, people watching, listening to music such as, cumbias, Tejano and country. She loved her family and her life. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.

Family will receive the public from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited by the Deacon Nick Carrillo at Palmer Mortuary on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
