Kennedy “Ken” Johnson

Kennedy P. Johnson of Seguin Texas passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the age of 47. He was born to Leo Johnson and Cristina Pascua-Johnson in the Philippines on January 20, 1975.

Kennedy is preceded in death by both of his parents and father in law Joe Hernandez.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Tina Hernandez-Johnson, their two sons Kennedy P Johnson Jr and MacKenzie Ross Johnson, and his adorable chihuahua Mikey. Older sister, Marissa Johnson and her kids Freddie Lopez, Ashley Reynolds and her husband Austin and their two kids, Averie and Akan, and Matthew Lopez, and little brother Dennis Johnson and his wife Lizet and their kids, Dennis Johnson Jr, Lyndon B Johnson, Raiden Johnson, and Kailah Johnson.

Kennedy was a beloved Son, Father, and Mentor. In his younger years you could find him in the local arcade, The Diversions, playing some of his favorite fighting games with his friends. He had a competitive spirit and always put passion into everything he touched. Kennedy had many job experiences in retail, car sales, and marketing his own national car business AutoSolutions4u. In his later years of his life he eventually put all of those experiences and passion for video games into his own business, Flashback Gaming which has been operating in the Seguin area for over 10 Years bringing collectors items, trading card games, retro video games, and video game tournaments, and even custom arcade machines to the local community.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Thursday, October 27th 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude on Thursday evening and a private cremation will take place soon after.
