Kevin Busby

Kevin Lee Busby went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday morning, December 18, 2012. He was born on June 7, 1954 in Cuero, TX to Walter Clarence Busby and Aubrey Jean Smith Busby.


He has rejoined his parents Walter and Aubrey Jean Busby, sister Karen Busby Ewick and Aunt Kathryn DeLaney.


He is survived by his wife Nora Theresa Busby of Seguin, 3 Stepsons Christopher Lum of Brewton, AL, Steve Lum Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Jason Megan Lum of Karnes City, TX. 2 stepdaughters Jenny Ackerman of Alabama and Jamie Lum of Seguin, TX. StepGrandchildren Houston, Bridgett, Haley, Brandon, Gabby, Samantha, Kelsi, Madison Gail, Reece and Madison Paige. Great grandchildren Lilyan and Jordan Grace.


Kevin was a devoted man to everything he was involved in, most of all to his wife Nora for over 20 years. He loved traveling around to different places seeing Gods country, Big Bend National Park was his favorite. He loved the Sunday country side drives with his wife. One who stopped to smell the roses and would even water them if there was a garden hose around. Kevin loved reading the paper while drinking his coffee and watching Sunday football with is friends. He loved his family and the presence of his stepchildren and grandchildren. He was a man who showed respect and was respected a true friend and loving husband, a man that will be truly missed.


A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Palmer Mortuary, 1116 N. Austin St. Seguin, TX 78155.
