Lazaro Hernandez Jr., of Seguin, formerly of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin gained his wings on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the age of 65. He was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on November 16, 1955, to Lazaro and Maria Hernandez Sr.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lazaro Hernandez Sr.
Lazaro is survived by his wife, Debra Jane Sealey Hernandez; mother, Maria (Molly) Hernandez; daughter, Lisa Cuestas (Rosendo, RJ); three grandchildren; sister, Sandra Hernandez; brothers, Joel Hernandez, and Robert Hernandez; nieces, Annette Montanez and Margarita Hernandez; nephews, Jason Hernandez and Jesus Montanez; brother-in-law, Miguel Bescada Gonzales and Sandra Sealey; as well as numerous family and friends.
Lazaro served in the United States Army. He had a passion for truck driving and was a trucker for half his life. He enjoyed viewing and exploring different states while on the road. While at home, his favorite things to do were watch movies and eat popcorn. He loved to eat. He was a great man of talents and accomplishments, a beloved husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He will be missed by all who loved him.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary Chapel with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
