Manuela Martinez

Manuela Rodriguez Martinez, of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the age of 96. She was born on March 4, 1919 in Cameron, Texas to Apolinar and Emelia (Ybarra) Rodriguez.

Survivors include her children, Mickey Solis, Josie Velasquez, Christina Mendez and Navidad De La Cruz; 36 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Sunday, September 20, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located at 409 W. Krezdorn St., Seguin, TX 78155, at 11:00 a.m. The public will be escorted from Palmer Mortuary to the church, leaving the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Anthony David Solis, David Jay Velasquez Jr., Heather Hernandez, Gavin Cain Moreno, Joe De La Cruz III and Joaquin Solis Jr.
