Marciano C. Gonzales, of Seguin, beloved father, brother, and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on January 20, 2022, at the age of 88. He entered this world on November 4, 1933, in Seguin, Texas, born to Jose Gonzales and Anita Valdez.
He is survived by his wife, Luisa Gonzales; daughters, Mary Lou Rodriguez, and Belinda Franklin; sons, Marciano Gonzales Jr., and Jesse Gonzales; brother, Robert Gonzales; sisters, Esperanza Gonzales, and Josefina Marez; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as numerous family and friends.
Marciano served in the United States Navy from 1951 – 1955 during the Korean War. He was a member of Pan American Golf Association and loved playing golf.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial following at San Geronimo Cemetery.
